The backbone of Venture Café – come meet the community and make connections with all different kinds of innovators. How will you make your serendipitous moment come true? The largest weekly tech networking event in New England, the Thursday Gathering is Venture Café Cambridge's flagship program — held every Thursday in the heart of Kendall Square as part of the CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) ecosystem. Each Thursday, we convene startup founders, investors, corporate innovators, creatives, government leaders, and technologists to spark ideas, accelerate innovation, and build meaningful community. With over 500 hours of curated content, 450+ speakers, and more than 20,000 in-person attendees annually, the Thursday Gathering is where conversations become collaborations. Outside of Boston Tech Week, programming spans the full breadth of the innovation landscape — from AI ethics and LLMs to gene therapy, blockchain, fintech, sustainability, and civic engagement — alongside global tech partnerships spanning Japan, Senegal, Canada, Korea, the UK, Ghana, Finland, Germany, and beyond.
