🇩🇰🇸🇪🇳🇴 Art Walk - Golden Mile in the Golden Gate Park 🇫🇮🇮🇸 Join Young Scandinavians Club for a fun art walk along the Golden Mile in Golden Gate Park. Stay for a picnic afterwards to hang out with old and new friends. 📅 Saturday, June 6 ⏰ Meeting time: 10:30 AM 📍 Meeting point: Golden Gate Park – First sculpture at the intersection of John F Kennedy Drive & Conservatory Dr E 👚🧤👑👗We will be outside - dress accordingly. Wear bright colours! 💫Along the way, we’ll enjoy the playful, ever-changing public art that makes the Golden Mile so special: from massive murals and colorful installations to sculptures like Street Whale, the bronze Rabbitwoman and Dogman figures, and the glowing sea serpent Naga at Rainbow Falls. 🐉We’ll finish at Naga, the 100-foot-long, 25-foot-tall, illuminated sea serpent sculpture at Rainbow Falls in Golden Gate Park. 🥪🍺After the walk, anyone who wants to stay and hang out longer is welcome to join a picnic in the park. BYOB and food, or buy something from the food trucks there. We will be by the Whale’s Tale. 🎶 we will stay for the live music at “The whale’s tale” garden: Bring the whole family (pups and kids welcome!) and enjoy live music and lawn games! 💡Special thanks to the organization Illuminate and their City of Awe project for making the Golden Mile happen.
