GIDE Hackathon @ a16z NYC Tech Week An elite, in-person hackathon hosted at the downtown Manhattan offices of Perkins Coie LLP (1155 6th Ave, 22nd Floor) during a16z NYC Tech Week. Who Can Compete: 1. Up to 50 participants. 2. Developers, students and founders. 3. Prior GIDE hackathon winners auto-qualify (must confirm by Sunday, one week before). Format: 30-min orientation → 6 hrs of in-building competition → 30-min judging → live presentations → awards for top 3 Platform Requirements: Core solution must be built in GIDE and reviewable in a locally downloaded copy. MCPs, APIs, and external services are fair game, but teams must demo live to judges. Judging: 30% Technical merit 30% Inventive use of GIDE 30% Effectiveness in solving the problem 10% Creativity Schedule: 8:00 – 9:00 AM : Breakfast & Check-in 9:00 – 9:30 AM : Kickoff, rules, challenge reveal 10:00 AM : 4:00 PM : Hack 12:00 PM : Lunch 2:00 – 3:00 PM AMA: GIDE for Founders & Builders (all attendees get a complimentary 3-month GIDE trial) 4:00 PM : Judging begins 5:00 PM : Awards ceremony Prizes announced live at the event.
