Come help us plant California pipevine, the only plant the pipevine swallowtail butterfly can lay its eggs on. These are the vines we rescued from Strawberry Creek at UC Berkeley, grown on through the summer and now ready to go into the ground. A vine in soil is habitat, so this is the work all the potting was for. No experience needed and we will show you everything. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring gardening gloves if you have them.
