Last Fridays at Eleven:Eleven are for building creative community. I welcome you into a space where you don’t have be anything but a human becoming. Sit in the process, slow down, get inspired, share your thoughts, find your place in Seattles creative scene. 

The entire event is just open social time to bring projects or work on ideas in community. We will hold space for DJs to bring experimental sets and for performers or literally Black person TALK YO SHIT about living in good ol Amerikkkah. You can share poems, stories , wisdom, frustrations. 

While we’re hosting the open mic, we will also be either leaning into fabrication art and creating our own durags out of different materials (bring durags and materials) to we can decorate durags too with items like spikes or drawing with markers, etc. 

We will end the event with a group photoshoot of  creations .
