Join us for an evening with a member of the Peak community, director, photographer, and filmmaker from San Francisco, Nicole Condez. Nicole's work moves through memory, migration, and intimacy, microscopically capturing the overlooked subtleties of home, love, grief, and kinship. Drawing from personal and collective histories, she uses both digital and analog photography to explore how culture, language, and longing inhabit everyday spaces. Her images are often arranged in quiet clusters: part portrait, part archive, part altar. Fragments of lived experience held in soft attention. Her most recent body of work includes Ako Ikaw Tayo, her debut solo exhibition in 2025, followed by its one year anniversary exhibition in 2026. Prior to these exhibitions, her work was featured in BOM Magazine Issue 5: The Movement Issue, with the publication acquired by the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Reference Library. She has also served as Creative Director and Director of Digital Storytelling for Dream State: Works in Progress, a third-culture art exhibition in partnership with the Asian Art Museum, and as Creative Director and Director of Photography for five seasons with avant-garde fashion designer Téodore Mata in San Francisco/Los Angeles).
