all work and no play makes for a very boring saturday night. we’re meeting up to see The Shining the way it deserves to be seen: on the big screen, surrounded by people you can silently look at every time something deeply unsettling happens. we’ll meet at AFS around 7:15 pm—about 15 minutes before the movie—to chat, grab concessions and get settled together. after the screening, we’ll head somewhere nearby to debrief and hang out saturday, october 10 meet at 7:15 pm movie starts at 7:30 pm AFS Cinema 6406 N I-35, Suite 3100 movie tickets are $15 and must be purchased separately through Austin Film Society. your Partiful RSVP lets us know you’re joining the meetup—it does not reserve your movie ticket, so grab yours before the screening sells out.
