The Pinal County Innovation DRIVE Experience is a curated Arizona Tech Week event designed for site selectors, developers, investors, and executives in key targeted industries. Attendees will travel from Phoenix through one of Arizona’s fastest-growing regions on a hosted tour highlighting major investments in advanced manufacturing, electric vehicles, battery technology, copper production, and workforce development.
The main program takes place in Florence at The Windmill Winery, where guests will enjoy a catered dinner featuring award-winning, slow-smoked Texas-style barbecue by pitmaster Kyle Mataszewski, along with rapid-fire insights from leaders at companies such as Lucid Motors, LG Energy Solution, Florence Copper, and Central Arizona College. These presentations provide a firsthand look at how industry, infrastructure, and workforce partnerships are driving economic growth in Pinal County.
After dinner, guests can relax and enjoy music and wine at the winery, before those interested have the optional opportunity to visit Country Thunder, one of Arizona’s largest music festivals, to see Lainey Wilson in concert. Pinal County is offering a glimpse into how the region balances innovation and industry with a vibrant live-work-play lifestyle. A chartered tour bus will transport attendees from Phoenix and return them at the end of the evening, making it easy to experience the region firsthand.
