Sacred Frame Drumming is an ancient tradition. The special deep healing sounds these drums make, combined with rhythms known to bring you into a meditative state, set the stage for greater communion with your own conscious and sub-conscious self.
The beauty and efficacy of engaging in rhythmic meditation over silent meditation, is the power of entrainment. Rhythm facilitates and expediates your ability to enter into a deep mediative state, and keeps you awake in the process. This is also known as Trance Drumming.
The first half of the gather is devoted to learning the basics of Rhythmic Frame Drumming and learning new rhythms. The second half is the opportunity to experience deeper submergence.
Each gather is catered to the attendee's level of knowledge. Whatever your experience, there is a part for you to play and a place for you here.
My name is ferndrummingbird. I studied with Layne Redmond for many years. She is the author of "When the women were Drummers" The book is about: Art, history and the Divine Feminine. I have also studied with Glen Velez, and Zorina Wolf, as well as many other teachers over the last 30 years. Each teacher brings unique prospective, and each experience brings you closer to the results desired.
It is my joy to be able to guide you! (no charge for smiles)
