Outsider Art Fair

The 34th edition of the Outsider Art Fair is happening March 19–22, 2026 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. It’s the leading fair dedicated to self-taught art and work made outside traditional art schools and the mainstream gallery system. Dozens of international exhibitors — from galleries to studios and nonprofits — come together to show one-of-a-kind pieces ranging from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media. The fair is open to the public Friday through Sunday, with talks and performances happening throughout the weekend.

Growing up in LA, dim sum followed by mahjong was a weekly ritual. A group of five families would gather for dim sum lunch before caravanning to one of our homes for hours of mahjong that stretched into the wee hours of the morning. Inspired by this tradition of ritual and gathering, we're continuing the "First Sundays" series at Nin Hao, now with an all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet format that made its debut at our Lunar New Year celebration and was such a hit.
