DJ-ing this event: the legendary Aadam Jacobs @thataadamguy - who’s gone viral recently for his 10,000 live recordings of Chicago music shows (including pre-teen spirit Nirvana) (see recent documentary “Melomaniac”) - the legendary Brian Peterson (@firesdie) who booked and promoted for the Fireside Bowl forever (and will be featuring his insane collection of posters and flyers at the event), Neil Sandler who played in seminal Midwest punk band Gauge, currently in Rollo Tomasi (@rollotomasi999), and Adam Norden of American Heritage (@american_fucking_heritage) Further, to add insult to plenty of injury, these completely insane people we know who know those guys above – who’ve co-curated our You Will Die exhibitions, released electronic music on our label @someoddpilotrecords, played in Chicago post-rock legends Ghosts N Vodka, and have also played in that Chicago metal band American Heritage – are in a punk band called NIXD (@nixdband) and they’ve got a brand new record they are releasing on their record label XCHCX. Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce Moa Dessert's next pop! After a little bit of time I've been finally able to plan my next pop-up and I'm happy to say it'll be happening on May 24th. Super exited to show off 2 new desserts along with one of my first ones. The event will be held in my condo unit where people will be allowed to buy and enjoy the treats with all purchases coming with a complimentary Korean barley tea. There will be limited seating, but to-go packages will be available. Be advised that there will be a limited number of pastries that will be determined depending on expected attendees.
