Join us on Sunday 9th August for an open decks competition at The Jago in Dalston! 🍒 The lovely @juicysteamedhams will be hosting a @cherryjamzlive open decks session, from 12-3pm. Slots will be determined by a raffle, so get down early to maximise your chances of playing! We will be selecting a winner who will go on to recieve a paid booking at our next Sunday Jamz event 🔥 Sunday Jamz follows the open decks session, with a great lineup of DJs and live performers providing the groovy, soulful daytime party vibes. @zaggasgoodfood will be serving up some banging Carribean soul food from around 2pm 🇯🇲🥘🍴 🎟️ Early bird tickets are out now. BADU X V&A EAST PRESENTS A MORNING OF MOVEMENT, MUSIC, CULTURE & CONNECTION Join us for a unique community wellness experience at V&A East, bringing together movement, culture and connection in one of East London’s newest creative spaces. Take part in a guided yoga session designed to help you recharge, reconnect and create space for wellbeing in a truly inspiring cultural setting. After the session, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Music Is Black exhibition, celebrating the sounds, stories and cultural impact of Black music across genres including grime, dancehall, Afrobeats, hip hop and more. We have a limited number of free and community-discounted exhibition tickets available for participants. This is the first time we’re creating an experience like this, reimagining what wellness can look like by bringing movement, mindfulness and community into cultural spaces. At BADU, we believe wellbeing can exist beyond traditional settings, creating opportunities to connect, reflect and experience new environments in meaningful ways. We’re excited to bring this session to V&A East and continue exploring new ways to bring people together through culture, movement and connection.
