I’m not a dating coach or show host, so this is the perfect job for me. Imani, Judith and I are bringing the discourse from YouTube to NYC. No apps or algorithms, just some balloons, strangers, and me not taking things seriously at all.

@ CHLOMEI on depop IRL - vintage pop up in Soho nyc
Sat to Sun · New York
NYC — CHLOMEI is finally coming off the screen.
Come spend the weekend with your two fav stylish NYC girlies and curators!!!!
After six years of building CHLOMEI online, Chloe — one of Depop’s top 100 sellers worldwide — is bringing her vision to life IRL for the very first time. I’m her creative producer, helping pull it all together, but this pop-up is 100% a product of her hard work and eye. We did a smaller version of this together two years ago in college — now we’re going big.
Chloe has spent months sourcing racks of unique vintage, Y2K, and rare Euro finds, exclusively for this event pieces you won’t find on her Depop. There’s a small men’s section too!
Most pieces are $5–$40, with a few rare/designer finds priced higher.
Come dig through the racks, bring a friend, and be part of this first in person pop up for CHLOMEI. And who knows — this could be one of many, just in time to get you ready for fall.

Does the state deserve your talent?
Impact in the public vs private sector
Thu, Sep 24 at 7:30pm · New York
Once a month, we pick a big question and invite someone who has spent a lifetime wrestling with it to come speak. We then take philosophy back to its roots as a social exercise while we discuss the speaker’s ideas with wine and bites.
This month we will host UN representative Joao Moraes Abreu, a Brazilian economist whose free healthcare tools have reached over 100 municipalities and help support a massive national healthcare system. We'll discuss the questions:
> what are the features of government generally?
> what types of problems are governments good at solving, and where do they fail?
> Is it better to make a change from within an existing system, or from the outside?
> Ultimately, for young people who want to make an impact or a career: does the state deserve your talent?
Joao has extensive firsthand experience with the limitations of both private and public sector work, and he'll join us for this event to discuss what tradeoffs you'll need to make if you're setting out to make an impact on the world or make a name for yourself.
There's no required reading, and we'll have a cheat sheet for common topics at the door. If you're interested in going more in-depth on these ideas before the event, check out these writings:

SIPPY’S : NYFW LAUNCH PARTY
Tomorrow at 8:30pm · New York
MADE BY HER ✨ NYFW LAUNCH PARTY
What you’ll wear next, and the women making it.
We’re launching MADE BY HER the only way that feels right: under a disco ball. 🪩
This isn’t a vintage or thrift market. Think elevated boutique pop up meets NYFW party: 10 female artists and designers, one seriously good curation, and a room full of things you’ll want to say you found first.
Some of the best pieces are the ones you find by chance — a designer a friend puts you onto, a name you stumble across, something special you can’t believe you hadn’t found sooner. MADE BY HER brings those discoveries together and puts the women behind them front and center.
For one night during NYFW, shop the first six designers of MADE BY HER, meet a few of the women joining us next, and dig through a special Sippy’s Closet curation — all under one roof, all shoppable.
Come find your next favorite thing, meet the woman who made it, grab a drink, and stay for the dancing. 🪩
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU ↓
Disco all night + live DJ + Free open bar

The Last Bohemians Film Screening
Today at 6pm · New York
The Last Bohemians is a short documentary series about eight older artists who live in NYC’s historic Chelsea Hotel. Since its opening in 1883, just about everything has been mythologized about the hotel: the rock stars, drugs, deaths and tales of ghosts. However, what many people don’t know or talk about are the residents that still live in the hotel today, some of whom have been there for over 45 years. This series celebrates eight of them through their work and incredible creative lives, capturing a vanishing era of the city.
Directed, edited and produced by artist Timothy Goodman, the film was selected at the Newport Beach Film Festival, and won Best Docuseries at the Big Apple Film Festival.
Q&A with renowned writer and Design Matters host Debbie Millman will follow the screening, joined by some of the Chelsea residents. The program will open with "Mon Taxi," a short film directed by Meriem Sakrouhi and an official selection of the 2026 Tribeca Festival.

2. Pick a recipe! We each pick a recipe (or two) that what we would like to bring. We have linked a Google Sheet so, once you decide, please mark your name next to the dish in the sheet! This way we can try to have as many unique items as possible.
3. Gather and enjoy the food! We will be meeting in Central Park close to the Columbus Circle entrance.
- We are charging a $3 fee to cover plates, utensils, napkins, etc and to discourage no shows! If the fee is not paid within 24 hours your RSVP will not be accepted. The fee becomes non-refundable within 5 days of the event date
- We will be providing plates, cutlery, napkins and non-alcoholic beverages
- Please bring your own serving utensils/anything else you may need. We also encourage you to bring a reusable to-go container for leftovers!
- There will be no plus ones. Everyone attending must bring a dish. Feel free to send the invite to your friends!
- We will be providing a list of the recipes in the book to help guests decide what dish they'd like to make and to try to look it up online if necessary.
Reach out to @centralparkcookbookclub on IG if you have any questions, if you're unable to purchase/borrow a copy of the cookbook, and/or if you would like to help with set up.

Strolling the avenue from Fourth to the Waterfront on a lovely fall day, is a celebration of ethnic tastings, fine arts and crafts from around the world, non-stop music and entertainment, and just pure fun. You’re likely to meet up with old friends or perhaps make new ones. You’ll want to spend the day, as there is just so much to see and do!
NYC Taco Bell 50K
Sat, Oct 3 at 8am · New York
Organizing an unofficial Taco Bell 50K because I got fomo from the official race in Denver. Join if you’re also insane.
Note: each entrant will receive their own bib and maybe even a finisher item if there’s enough RSVP!
Or if you want to participate but not do the challenge directly, I may need a volunteer or two:-)
Same rules apply: 31 miles, 10 taco bell locations.
-11HR cut off (7PM EST)
-Eat a menu item from at least 9 of the 10 Taco Bell stops. The food must be consumed on site before proceeding to the next
-By the 4th stop, entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Chalupa Supreme or one Crunchwrap Supreme (dietary restrictions will be allowed within reason)
-By the 8th stop, entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Burrito Supreme or one Nacho Bell Grande (dietary restrictions will be allowed within reason)
-NYC specific rule: sides/sweets limited to cheesy potatoes, chips, apple empanada and large nacho fries can be counted as “food” once per item
-Drinks do not count as food
-Entrants must keep all receipts and wrappers for confirmation of stupidity at the end of the run
-If you intend to participate, RSVP your statement of intent. ONCE YOU RSVP, YOU ARE IN.
-No on-course Pepto, Alka Seltzer, Pepcid A/C, Mylanta will be allowed
-NYC specific rule: given that bathrooms are hard to find, slightly off course bathrooms are permitted. But you must rejoin the course from the same point you left
-Additional "rules" may be added, amended, or changed to promote the intent of this run, which is to do something completely stupid.

Both are served with pashmak (Iranian cotton candy), salted pistachios, and our house-made tahini date syrup.
Available September 8–22 during regular café hours, exclusively at Sofreh Café in Brooklyn.
