Once a month, we bring together a group for an accessible talk on philosophy and some well-structured conversation, with wine and bites in a cozy spot in Harlem. Our goal is to recreate the best undergrad discussion course you ever attended and help you meet some people who want to have conversations about things that matter. This October we're hosting Robert Gooding-Williams, the Brooks and Suzanne Ragen Professor of Philosophy at Yale and author of In the Shadow of Du Bois. We'll spend the evening discussing the questions: > what makes someone a progressive? > do the most highly educated and well connected people have a duty to serve their communities? > ultimately, what do we need for our leaders in order for our communities to prosper?
