Panelist Bios:
Dr. Richard J. Gray, M.D., is Chief Executive Officer of Mayo Clinic in Arizona. A surgical oncologist and longtime Mayo leader, he oversees one of the nation’s fastest-growing medical campuses, guiding major expansion, research, and innovation initiatives that are helping position Arizona as a global hub for the future of healthcare.
Dr. Steven Lester, M.D., is Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Arizona Discovery Oasis and founder of the Mayo/ASU Accelerator at Mayo Clinic. A physician-innovator and entrepreneur, he leads efforts to translate Mayo Clinic discoveries into new startups and technologies, helping connect Arizona’s growing tech and venture ecosystem with breakthrough healthcare innovation.
James Bates is Founder and CEO of AdviNOW Medical, a healthcare AI company based in Arizona. He is an entrepreneur focused on using artificial intelligence and automation to improve access to care, leading the development of technologies that help clinics deliver faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatment.
