Holdover County has a long-standing rule: no dancing. Ordinance EC-3:4 has been on the books since October of 1985, prohibiting "unlicensed rhythmic movement in gatherings of six or more persons." The record is sealed, and for 41 years the Board has never explained why. With enough signatures, the Board has agreed to continue the hearing on October 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM. It's closed to the public but will broadcast on KVOS radio. Let's all gather to listen, and if they don't repeal the ordinance, we'll cross the county line to the other side, where the law doesn't apply, and prove that dancing ain't dangerous. This year, Jesse turns 41, and with that we present DARK CORNERS: Across County Lies. This experience is like a group camping trip... just minus the tent, sleeping bag, and waking up with a snake in your boot (note: bring boots). Still, with the travel logistics that camping demands: arrive as a group, travel together, stay the whole time, and leave healed. 5:00 PM -> 1:00 AM. If you can't commit to the full experience, this one isn't for you (said with love, not judgment). Rendezvous: we're still figuring out a meeting spot in the Valley that the sheriff doesn't know about. We'll update as soon as we have somewhere safe. From there, we ride, in carpools, together. If you have to bail early, you can Uber home, but we recommend you leave with u$. Drinking? Uber to the Valley rendezvous point. Down to be a driver? Let Jesse know.
