Eddie first threw a disc at age 31 when his brother got him into the sport. He used to hike and camp all the time but as time went on he found a happy medium with disc golf. Disc golf is a fun way to get outside and move your body. The goal is to get a specialized frisbee or “disc” into a target or “basket” in as few throws as possible. Disc golf can be intimidating with so much selection and variety in the courses as well as the discs. Eddie is a FIRM believer that disc golf is for everyone! If you are looking to get outside more or looking into playing local tournaments and competing, come out and give it a try! In the course we will learn about different disc types, throwing methods, scoring, and rules. But the best way to learn is to get out and throw! Discs to practice with will be provided so you do not need to bring your own equipment, but you can if you have some discs at home. No experience necessary, no skill level is too low!
