In the wake of their grandfather's death, siblings Ellie and Shem reunite to handle the struggling family business, The Peanut Patch. Will they be able to reconcile their differences, heal their childhood traumas, and save the family farm? A black comedy that follows two siblings, the wise spirit of a dead possum, and the memories that linger as they confront opposing beliefs on grieving and activism.
Following the debut workshop performances at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival, we have revamped the script and scenic design. As well as new staging and a new crew of professional actors, we guarantee this new iteration of A Funeral at the Peanut Patch is one you’re not going to want to miss!
