Small Circle Cypher: A Discussion on Rap Beefs

Calling all hip-hop heads and those of you hooked by the recent Kendrick vs. Drake fiasco We're hosting a small group discussion to explore the OG rap beefs throughout time (Tupac vs. Biggie, Nas vs Jay-Z, etc.) inspired by the recent showdown. Come through, we'll listen to some of the iconic songs together, talk about what went down and how they all impacted the culture. ------------------------------- Andrew Pang (a child of Chinese immigrants and Bay Area-native) and co-founder, Dennis “Conrad” Johnson (a child of Sierra-Leonian immigrants, and long-time resident of SF) have formed a collective called "The Children of Diaspora". Their mission is deeply rooted in bridging communities by celebrating, appreciating and creating a deeper understanding of others’ cultures, especially ones that aren’t highlighted in the mainstream. Together, as "The Children of Diaspora", they curate experiences that resonate with both the traditional and the modern.
