Zimbabwe is having a moment. Be in the room.
From Harare's underground studios to the 2026 Venice Biennale, we're bringing together the artists defining contemporary Zimbabwean art right now.
For one weekend only, we're presenting the works of nine artists — painters, weavers, printmakers, and beyond — many exhibiting outside Zimbabwe for the first time.
On Sunday, Nontsikelelo Mutiti of the Yale School of Art joins us for a conversation on what this movement means and where it's going.
This event is pay what you wish. Donations and art sales benefit Mbare Art Space, a nonprofit creative studio in Harare.
