It’s time to put your cowboy hats on because Behind the Camera House is headed to Austin, Texas, for SXSW 2026! Join industry professionals, creatives, and media for an afternoon dedicated to connection, craft, and community during the Festival! Designed as the definitive home base for creatives, Behind the Camera House offers a rare space to come together during this year’s festival, spotlighting the artists who shape film from behind the scenes and creating conversations you won’t find anywhere else at the festival. Throughout the day, attendees will gain exclusive insight into the creative processes behind films premiering at SXSW through a curated series of panels. Each conversation will dive into the craftsmanship, storytelling, and creative decision-making that shape today’s most compelling cinema. Panel themes include music, editing, cinematography, and production design. Following each panel, guests are invited to stay and connect at our networking mixers, creating meaningful opportunities to build relationships within the festival community and film industry. From 5 - 7 p.m., the experience expands with a special extended mixer. Behind the Camera House is where craft meets community, bringing together the artists shaping the film landscape from behind the scenes.
