Hosting Moxvie Night after Member Dinner! Based on one of my favorite books - spanning multiple time eras :) From Sasha from the book: "We are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future" 📽️ The Concept: "Everything is Connected"The film weaves together six stories spanning from the year 1849 to a post-apocalyptic 2321. The core hook is that the same ensemble cast (Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving) plays different characters in every era. A character who is a villain in one century might be a hero in the next, representing the "migration of a soul" and how a single act of kindness—or cruelty—can ripple across a thousand years to spark a revolution. Bring: Your favorite drinks and your best theories on reincarnation. More about: An attorney harbors a fleeing slave on a voyage from the Pacific Islands in 1849; a poor composer in pre-World War II Britain struggles to finish his magnum opus before a past act catches up with him; a genetically engineered worker in 2144 feels the forbidden stirring of human consciousness -- and so on.
