*Spooky* Yiddish Movie Night & Potluck

Hosted by DMV Jewish Labor Bund
◕‿◕
Join the DMV Bund for another Yiddish movie night and potluck! With a nod to our non-Jewish comrades celebrating morbid things this month, get ready for the eeriest (and most famous) Yiddish movie of all: The Dybbuk (1937), a tale of star-crossed love, thwarted fate, and mystical possession. Yiddish proficiency is not required, there will be English subtitles. After the film we will have some time for discussion. We encourage folks to bring dairy or pareve food to share. While Joe's has generously donated the space, we will be grateful for pay-what-you-can donations to support the staff assisting us! It is 1-1/2 blocks away from a bus stop with multiple connections to the Red Line (RI Ave) and Green Line (West Hyattsville), among other origins. Please contact the hosts if you'd like help finding a ride. We ask attendees to PLEASE wear a mask so that this event can be accessible to all. Can't wait to see you all there!
