Well, dear friends, this one will be for the books. Join us for a slightly somber summer Sunday. The first Bring Your Own Vinyl was only possible because Dear Friends Books opened its doors to this fun little idea that continues to get bigger each time. And while we will have more BYOV at future locations around New York City, this will be the last event at Dear Friends Books before our humble bookstore/cafe closes its doors for good in September. For this one, we're asking people to bring a vinyl record (or 2) that is tied to the night's theme: last. It could be the last record you bought, the last record you listened to, the last record of your favorite artist, the last record you got in college- whatever the story, we want to listen to it. Have a drink, bring some wax, and let's play one final one for our dear friends and Dear Friends.
