"Connected by Canoes" PNW Summer Tour with 808Ohana, Maka and Eli Kaimilani

Join us for an intimate evening of music, moʻolelo, ceremony, and conscious connection with Hawaiian reggae artist and cultural advocate Maka. Blending original music, storytelling, ʻike Hawaiʻi, and heartfelt presence, Maka creates a space that invites us to slow down, reconnect, and remember what truly matters. Through powerful songs rooted in aloha ʻāina, unity, transformation, and love for community, this gathering becomes more than a concert — it becomes a shared experience of healing, remembrance, and inspiration. The evening will include live music, ʻawa ceremony, moʻolelo, mele, and reflections woven together in a deeply grounded and uplifting atmosphere. Come gather in resonance. Come listen deeply. Come remember that the revolution begins within. Maka is a Hawaiian Reggae artist and advocate from South Kona known for her unique ukulele playstyle, powerful voice and songs that bring voice to the land and culture of her ancestors. Her music uplifts and  inspires the listener to return to a stewardship mindset and lifestyle of pono balance while challenging systems that divide.  Maka returns this year with bold new music that speaks straight to the heart and spirit of change. Her highly anticipated album, Revolution, just released in December 2025, alongside a separate family project, Huli, created with her husband and their band 808 Ohana. In July 2025, she released “When Will We Be Free” (feat. Petroglyph), the song calls for freedom, unity, and transformation, reminding us that the revolution begins within. Now, with the release of the title track “Revolution Song” , Maka amplifies her message: that real change starts at home, in our hearts, and love is the ultimate solution. Together, these songs mark a new era in Maka’s journey as one of Hawai‘i’s most inspiring voices for justice, culture, and aloha ‘āina. Carefully crafted Merch will be available as well to help support the band and tour costs!
