Palpate This — A night out for hardworking healthcare providers who need one.
The SOAP notes of the event:
S — Subjective:
"I never get to actually talk to or hangout with other healthcare providers outside of work." Sound familiar? You're not alone. We hear you.
O — Objective:
One overworked physio + allied healthcare community. Chronically low social contact outside clinic hours. Symptoms include: eating lunch alone and in a rush, forgetting what your colleagues look like in casual clothes, and not being able to remember the last time you had a weekend off.
A — Assessment:
Occupational social deficit, likely chronic. Prognosis is excellent with appropriate intervention (ie. this event). Patient is motivated and has already opened this invitation, which is a good sign.
P — Plan:
* Attend 'Palpate This' on Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Report to 30 Shore Breeze Drive Party Room C in Etobicoke at 7pm.
* Engage in Physio/HCP Trivia, Two Truths & A Lie, and open concept peer socialization.
* Dosage: one night, maybe a few drinks, good company + music, a beautiful view of the Toronto skyline; repeat as tolerated.
* Follow-up: TBD, but we're already thinking about the next event!
