Journal Couture is getting the full Y2K treatment with velour tracksuits, rhinestones, crowns, charms, and enough pink to transport us straight back to the early 2000s. Inspired by the iconic Juicy Couture era, this theme celebrates the over-the-top glamour we couldn’t get enough of. Think hot pink and chocolate brown, bedazzled lettering, matching tracksuits, tiny handbags, crowns, hearts, charms, flip phones, glossy magazines, celebrity street style, and all the fabulously extra details that defined the decade. We’ll be gathering at Assembly Icehouse in Plano for an evening of journaling, creativity, and living our best 2000s lives. And yes, this is absolutely your excuse to dig through the back of your closet — wear your bedazzled track pants, velour, rhinestones, or anything else that makes you feel like a Y2K icon. We’ll have themed scrap packs filled with Juicy-inspired ephemera, nostalgic patterns, glamorous details, pops of pink, and thoughtfully curated embellishments perfect for giving your journal the couture treatment. Bring your favorite supplies, settle in with friends, and get ready for a night that’s equal parts junk journal and Y2K fabulous. Because around here, it’s not just couture — it’s Journal Couture.
