Community in Health: A Reception with the National Indian Health Board
Join the National Indian Health Board for Community in Health, a special reception held during the Grantmakers in Health conference on June 8, 2026, at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. This gathering will bring together health philanthropy partners, public health advocates, and allies committed to advancing health and well-being for American Indian and Alaska Native peoples.
Tribal health is rooted in community, sovereignty, culture, and the strength of relationships. Philanthropy has an important role to play in supporting Tribally led solutions that address long-standing health inequities, strengthen public health infrastructure, and invest in the priorities defined by Tribal Nations and communities. Through meaningful partnership, funders and Tribal health leaders can work together to support healthier futures, expand access to resources, and build systems grounded in trust, respect, and self-determination.
Community in Health is an opportunity to connect, learn, and explore how the health philanthropic network can be a stronger partner in advancing Tribal health. We invite you to join NIHB for an evening of relationship-building, conversation, and shared commitment to health and community-centered impact.
