Heart of Dinner is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that directly addresses loneliness, isolation, and food insecurity among Asian American elders living in under-resourced and underinvested communities by delivering weekly hot meals and grocery items in bags hand-decorated by volunteers.
We’ve been hosting monthly meetups since 2023 for our Greenpoint neighbors and anyone who wants to support Heart of Dinner but can’t make it to their usual volunteer hours. It’s always such a joy to see new and familiar faces in a friendly, intimate setting.
Come do a little arts and crafts, maybe have a glass of wine. meet your neighbors, and make some new friends :)
Supplies are provided.
If you’ve made any on your own but haven’t had a chance to deliver them, feel free to bring them and we’ll take care of the drop-off.
