As the highly reputable Corey Helford Gallery in DTLA celebrate their 20th year anniversary we are excited to offer a unique opportunity to step inside the work of Norwegian-American artist Harald Austad and become the muse and the artwork of his latest Power Portrait series.
The exhibit will take place in Gallery 3.
Harald Austad's exclusive Power Portraits have been growing increasingly popular with royal engagement portraits of the Princess of Norway Martha Louise & Shaman Durek, and commissions from prominent personalities like MTV's Chanel West Coast & Margie Plus
"I got inspired to make the Power Portraits when I found a black & white shadow portrait of my grandmother. I wanted to re-interpret the historical tradition of portraits from Royal to Warhol, and turn it into my Supergraphic style. I merge art & design to capture your essence though shape & color alone, and wanted to base the portraits on the simplest recognizable form, your silhouette. I love vibrant colors and use them to uplift, empower and to spread joy. My vision is to transform your favorite colors into an iconic Power Portrait that lights up the world and celebrates you."
