Light refreshments will be served ☕ 🥐 As cyber threats grow more sophisticated and widespread, the demand for the next generation of cybersecurity leaders has never been greater. Yet, young people remain significantly underrepresented and often disconnected from the field. Moderated by Girls Who Code CEO Dr. Tarika Barrett, this panel convenes leading voices in cybersecurity education to examine the emerging gap between the scale of digital risk and the pipeline of young talent prepared to defend against it. Panelists Bianca Lewis of Girls Who Hack, Keely Quinn of DoSomething, and Vivian Yu of Girl Scouts of Greater New York will explore where cybersecurity is headed, why youth engagement in the field remains limited, and what it will take to inspire, train, and empower the next generation to help secure our digital future. Craig Newmark, Founder of Craigslist, will provide opening remarks.
