Get ready for a celebration of Brooklyn pride and nostalgic reimaginings. Brooklyn Blend is a love letter to Brooklyn and this city's ability to blend, remix, and mashup all the things we love into one city.
On August 16, Lighting Society invites you to celebrate our shared love for the absurd life we live in Brooklyn. A city of unlikely collisions, constant SHOWTIME, late night pizza quests, and endless themes we somehow always have a fit for. Where the streets are filled with peter panning DJ’s, Williamsburg witches, Bushwick gutter punk fairies, bodega kittens, stroller mamas serving couture, and where bold looks and mashups join forces.
Come out and play — whether as a blend/mashup of all that you love, your take on a New York archetype, or simply in that iconic outfit you've been waiting for the perfect moment to wear again. This summertime soiree is all about celebrating your personal blend — the clashes, contrasts, and remixes that make you you.
