Post Haste is coming up from Philly and we’re making a few drinks together at Oddball for one night only.
Expect conversation-starting ingredients like second flush espresso, kumquat cold foam, roasted oyster shell, kombu and apple mignonette, ricotta whey, and kumquat superjuice, alongside bottles from independent producers including Neversink, Fell to Earth, Faccia Brutto, Empirical,
Acid Spirits, Culch, and Laird’s.
Post Haste, named one of the best new bars in America in 2024, brings a deeply regional, kitchen-to-bar approach where Eastern U.S. producers shape the drinks and ingredients get more than one life. Oddball, a new cocktail bar on the edge of the East Village, brings a little garage science: unexpected combinations, familiar cocktail structures, and enough testing to make sure the drinks are balanced, approachable, and actually fun to drink. Both beverage programs share a curiosity around independent spirits, byproduct reuse, and unexpected flavors that make sense once they’re in the glass.
