Waves of Color 2026 Waiver

Join Waves of Color for our August Oregon surf meet-up hosted by Co-Founder, Steph & Events Lead, Mel ✨ Date: Sat, Aug 22, 2026 Time: 9 am to 12 pm Location: Short Sands Beach atOswald West State Park. Take Short Sands Trl from parking lot and meet us at the beach. We will have a Waves of Color sign Parking: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3L8m5dJGCLV5Fp2C8?g_st=ic We will start with a meet & greet on the beach, stretch & have a quick safety talk, and then hop into the water together 🏄‍♀️ Cost: Free community event! RSVP & fill out event waiver linked. We have a new waiver form, once you fill out, it covers you for 2026 events with Waves of Color! What to bring: • Surfboard + wetsuit • Hat, sunscreen + snacks & water • Towel, changing poncho & clothes Need gear? Let us know in the waiver form and we can help connect you with community boards or local rentals. Who is this event for: This event welcomes all women & non-binary folks who feel comfortable in a space centered on women’s experiences. You must be 18 years or older to attend this event. Please note, this is not a surf lesson. Participants must be able to surf and swim safely and independently in the water/ocean. About Waves of Color: We support the next generation of women surf leaders, coaches, mentors, and competitors.
