Center5oul and KineticInnerG presents a blessed event for the whole community to participate in. “King of the Green Toe Tournament” is a dance battle event aiming to bring the community together with movement, mindfulness, music, art, and agriculture. EarthTone attire encouraged !! 🌱🌳🍂 GRAND PRIZE: $222 cash prize, live painting and photo shoot by @indicuttt, all will be leaving with harvested food sponsored by The Well and DCGreens Our offerings for the day will include: 11:30 am - 12:00 pm - breath and somatic work by @ecowellco 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm - farm tour by @da_natureguy369 of @ward8well 12:30pm - 1:00 pm - a bachata class led by @yourstrulycat (Cat Gloria) 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - dance battles commence among the 16 dancers 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - DJ set by @yowillofficial as well as a time to harvest food from The Well. Sponsored by The Well at Oxon Run and DCGreens For 15 years, @dc_greens has been advancing health equity by building a just and resilient food system. At their community farm and wellness space in Southeast, D.C., @Ward8Well, they welcome community partners to join them in providing nutrition classes, physical exercise classes, mindfulness classes, and a range of children’s programs. That way, community members can fully enjoy the beautiful space while also accessing nutritious and sustainably grown produce.
