IL2c is the third iteration of what I consider to be the most interesting mix I've done in 30+ years of playing with sound. This is a kind of sonic cinema for music lovers and a long form audio art piece with a flowing meta narrative. Augmented elements from a large range of music, film samples, and spoken word interact significantly and in a variety of ways for 90 minutes. Over 150 sound sources were carefully selected and edited to create a micro/macro produced studio mix that brings you on a uniquely reflexive sonic journey.
The purpose of these intentional listening events is to elevate the experience of audio, making the art of sound the primary focus of our attention. No multi-tasking, phones, or conversation. We give our undivided attention to interesting audio for the length of an eclectic mix.
