Chutzpah in the Chi: A Comedy Show by Rebecca Joey Schwab
Hosted at Shaily Hakimian
*This is the pilot for a new Jewish Comedy Show
Join Rebecca Joey Schwab for Chutzpah in the Chi, a no-holds-barred, so Jewish it hurts, comedy show as she performs all the inside baseball Jewish humor she can't usually share...Because everyone hates us more than usual lately.
She's taking a break from ruling Jewish Chicago and bringing the laughs instead.
Can a Jewish queen take a sabbatical? Yes, bitches, she’s tired.
In this one-hour, multimedia, comedy special, Rebecca tackles the wild ride of being a Zionist in today's encampment of a world, and how she hides her very obvious identity from Uber drivers. Of course, you will hear about her from her not-so-unique Birthright fling with a soldier to her pandemic escapades with fellow inbred Jews.
A special treat for those invested in Rebecca's spinster shtupping as she shared "Shtupped Stories", where the audience shouts out a number and Rebecca dishes on the craziest sexual encounters from her very detailed list (of course it has dates and middle names).
Expect pandemic jokes that never hit the stage, tales of being a bar mitzvah tutor, and the hilarious moments from her real life non for profit. Like that one time after a successful happy hour, the bar staff told her that everyone brought up their grandparents who survived the holocaust, though nobody asked. And then someone asked the general manager what it would be like to wander in the desert for 40 years. To defend the Jews and their insanity, of course she seduced a bartender after answering a desert-wandering question. (He died weeks later – related? Who knows.)
Learn more than you ever wanted about the former queen of Jewish Chicago, now reigning over Chutzpah in the Chi. With a cute and hilarious Jewish opener each month, this show will keep you laughing through the tears. And there are so many tears.
