Curious about what’s being built at the Utah San Rafael Energy Lab?
Valar Atomics is hosting a community open house and inviting residents of Carbon and Emery Counties to stop by, see the facility firsthand, and meet the engineers building it.

📍 Valar Site – Utah San Rafael Energy Lab
You’ll be able to:
Walk through the reactor building and ask questions directly.
Hear brief remarks from Valar and Emery County Commissioners
Enjoy barbecue and refreshments.
Ward-250 is a small research reactor built for engineering testing — not a commercial power plant — and this is an opportunity to learn more about it in a relaxed setting.
Families are welcome (children with adult supervision encouraged).
We look forward to meeting our neighbors.
This open house is intended for local residents of Carbon and Emery Counties.
Credentialed media must coordinate directly with the Valar team to arrange site access.
