WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS MONTH? It is February, which means this month's Beer People falls within the best week of the year to be a Bay Area Beer Person. Whether you still call it SF Beer Week, Bay Area Beer Week, or simply Beer Week, what you are referring to is the most successful and enduring extended celebration of regional beer culture in the US! Now in its 17th year, Beer Week features more than 200 events across Monterey to Windsor, running from Friday, February 20th, to Sunday, March 1st. West Fest, which is hosted by Oakland's Ghost Town Brewing at their Laurel District Beer Garden just minutes from Paulista, has quickly become one of the tentpole events of this time of year. Whether you will be starting your evening there, or at one of the dozens of other Beer Week activities taking place, we are invite you to finish your night with us, at Beer People #9: The After Party! We know Beer Week is often a very packed work week for Bay Area Beer People, so Paulista is staying open three extra hours on Thursday night to provide a place for us to connect. Whether we feel the need to decompress a bit, or we just aren't ready for the party to stop. Either way, see you there!
