BUILD ON TUESDAY JUNE 30TH: WRITE STUFF, MAKE STUFF, DECORATE STUFF. HANG OUT AND VIBE ON DEMOCRACY, INTERDEPENDENCE, AND "WE THE PEOPLE" AS INCLUDING ALL PEOPLE AND ALL BEINGS!
WE THE PEOPLE: PERFORMING WORDS
Juanita Rockwell led a We the People Write! Workshop on Zoom to give some guidance around writing poems and things to put on clothing, fans, kites, to make pocket zines to pass out at the parade, etc.
On Tuesday, June 30th, 4-8 P.M. at Submersive Headquarters in Hampden (Parking & Access info below), prompts and materials will be available for this, as well as MANY other options for creating processional objects and signs -- some clothing available, or bring your own. You can use this time to gather and prepare anything else for the parade. Even if you don't have anything to make, come hang out, meet other parade participants, eat some snacks, drink delicious tea and get ready to celebrate Interdependence!
