🐦⬛ What does the crow have to teach us about solidarity and community?
⛰️ What wisdom does the water or the mountain have about making it through times of great loss and change?
🌲 What can we learn from the salmon, the redwood, or the lichen about resilience, resistance, and reciprocity?
In these times of unraveling and global crisis, many of us are searching for insight that can help us live, act, heal, and protect what we love. The Council of All Beings is a ritual developed by Joanna Macy and John Seed that helps us tap into the wild wisdom of the more-than-human world and remember that we ourselves are nature—part of a vibrant web of life rich with wisdom.
"The Council of All Beings is a communal ritual in which participants step aside from their human identity and speak on behalf of another life-form... it aims to heighten awareness of our interdependence in the living body of Earth, and to strengthen our commitment to defend it." – Joanna Macy
