Introducing From Camera to Client: A Photography Business Workshop for Women with Sam Popp. In celebration of Women’s History Month, join Femme Foto in collaboration with Peak Design New York for a business-focused workshop led by NYC-based photographer Sam Popp. From Camera to Client is designed for women, femme-identifying, trans, and nonbinary photographers who want to strengthen the business side of their creative practice and operate with greater clarity and confidence. In this session, Sam pulls back the curtain on the less-visible mechanics of a sustainable photography career — from client experience to positioning to the subtle decisions that build trust and repeat work. What to expect: -A behind-the-scenes look at Sam’s approach to business development and client relationships -Practical guidance on contracts, communication, and managing expectations -Insight into visibility, positioning, and creative growth -Open Q&A with space for real questions and real scenarios Whether you're early in your career or refining an established practice, this workshop is about building a business that reflects your values - and gets you rehired. Who This Is For: This workshop event is exclusively for women, femme-identifying, nonbinary, and trans photographers of all identities and expressions within the photo industry. We center queer, nonbinary, and trans voices, building space with care, intention, and respect. Femme Foto exists to counter isolation, gatekeeping, and extractive industry norms by prioritizing connection, mutual support, and shared growth.
