Mitski’s forthcoming new album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me (Feb 27, Dead Oceans) finds Mitski immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant; inside of her home, she is free.

At the Tansy House Listening Events on Sat Feb 21, Mitski invites fans to join her in that home for an early listening of Nothing’s About to Happen to Me and scrapbooking at her desk. The album will also be available for pre-order + can be picked up with an exclusive bumper sticker (while supplies last) on release day.

Fans who attend a listening event at their local record store will be encouraged to bring their favorite pens, stickers, and other crafting supplies. They’ll receive a notepad of Tansy House letterhead upon arrival, on which they can write, doodle, and scrapbook as they listen to the unreleased album. Their finished pages will be attached to a Desk of Mitski poster hung in the shop. Stores will be asked to submit photos of their decorated posters + favorite scrapbook pages for the chance to be featured on @themitskiverse Instagram page.
