Join us for the very first gathering of IN THE ROOM: a book(ish) social club.
This month, we're reading 'The Wilderness' by Angela Flournoy. The novel follows five Black women navigating the complexities of friendship, career, and identity from their early 20s in 2008 through midlife, predominantly between New York and Los Angeles.
Book club excites me because it offers an opportunity to gather with likeminded people to connect over shared interests through the lens of a story. Through the characters, we see reflections of ourselves.
The intention is to leave this lively conversation with insights, reflections, and takeaways that shape our lives beyond the page.
