:D
Join the DMV Bund for another Yiddish movie night and potluck! PLEASE NOTE THE OLD TIME BUT NEW PLACE.
We'll be a showing the 1937 classic Green Fields (Grine Felder), by a leading Yiddish director based on a play by one of the great Yiddish playwrights. Yiddish proficiency is not required, there will be English subtitles. After the film we will have some time for discussion.
We encourage folks to bring dairy or pareve food to share for a potluck dinner beforehand.
We also welcome donations to help cover the cost of the space, on a pay-what-you-can basis (suggested $10-$15).
Getting there: It is next to the Takoma Park Metro station on the Red Line. Other transit connections are available. There is ample street parking. Please contact the hosts if you'd like help finding a ride.
Accessibility: There is a ramp leading to the back door. The bathroom is on the second floor.
Can't wait to see you all there!
