Join the DMV Bund for another Yiddish movie night and potluck!

We are delighted to present a very recent (2011) Yiddish/English film that reimagines Romeo and Juliet among two sects of Yiddish-speaking Orthodox Jews in NYC. Yiddish proficiency is not required, there will be English subtitles. After the film we will have some time for discussion.

We encourage folks to bring dairy or pareve food to share. Because this will fall during Passover, we also encourage you to bring food that's kosher for Passover, or at least to label whether it is.

We will be grateful for pay-what-you-can donations to cover the costs of using the space!

It is 1-1/2 blocks away from a bus stop with multiple connections to the Red Line (RI Ave) and Green Line (West Hyattsville), among other origins. Please contact the hosts if you'd like help finding a ride.

We ask attendees to PLEASE wear a mask so that this event can be accessible to all.
