We’re excited to welcome you to a Poe Hackathon hosted by Cerebral Valley and SHACK15. Quora CEO Adam D'Angelo will deliver the keynote, and attendees will get exclusive early access to our new monetization system and receive hands-on support from the Poe team. We’re launching a first-of-its-kind revenue sharing program that will enable bot creators to set a per-message price of their choosing and generate revenue proportional to usage. Users will see the price expressed in terms of the same compute points that they are used to on Poe, and points will count toward their existing daily or monthly budget as a free Poe user or paid subscriber. Being able to reliably generate revenue with every message allows developers creating bots with significant GPU inference costs or API costs to build sustainable, profitable businesses. It is also available for prompt bot creators and can provide income to invest in creating valuable custom knowledge bases and delivering unique experiences for users. This year alone, we expect to spend tens of millions of dollars on payments across all types of bots. Come build a bot and monetize it on Poe. More details about Poe bots are available at: https://creator.poe.com/ Winning teams will be featured in the official launch for this program to amplify awareness and activity for their bots.
