October Women’s Parkour Meetup This is open to all women of all ages and ability levels—whether you’re a total beginner or have experience, you are welcome here. 👟 Remember to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. 💧 Don’t forget to bring water to stay hydrated! ~ Date and Time ~ Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM ~ Location Details ~ Tide Lock Park 1 Canal Center Plaza, Alexandria VA 22314 ~ Getting There ~ 🚶🏽‍♀️Walking or Biking: Use the Mount Vernon Trail, which passes right by the park. It sits just north of Oronoco Bay Park. 🚇 Metro: From Braddock Road Station, you can either walk about 1.1 miles northeast toward the Potomac River waterfront (approx. 14 minutes), or take a free local connection. 🚌 Bus Option: Board the DASH Line 31 bus (Old Town Circulator) from the station area, exit at Madison Street and North Fairfax Street, and walk the remaining 9 minutes east toward Canal Center Plaza. 🚗 Driving: Access the area via Canal Center Plaza, Third Street, or Montgomery Street. You can also park at Orocono Bay Park's parking lot and then walk to your left to meet us at Tide Lock Park. Let’s come together, have fun, build our confidence, and enjoy the outdoors.
