1920's Era, Great Gatsby Inspired Outfits, black, gold, silver, flapper, etc. (Each character will have personal recommendations as well)

There will be themed drinks provided, but I will most likely ask for you to bring some as well, or to bring an appetizer or snack for the party

Hello. If you are seeing this, it means that a 1920's themed murder mystery party is in the works. As your host, I am trying to figure out when we can make this happen, as it is something I have wanted to do for a while. The way it works is that there will be an assigned list of characters, but once you find out who you will be, you will also be receiving a character brief that tells you what you can and cannot share with others, along with personality traits and outfit suggestions. Throughout the game, everyone will receive more envelopes that will reveal more personal information and also topics to bring up with other specific characters. One of you will die, and none of us will know until it happens. It is then everyone else's job to figure out who the murderer is. After everyone places their votes and the killer is revealed, there will be awards that everyone will get to vote on regarding best outfits, acting, detective skills, and more. An awards ceremony will be held, and then we can spend the rest of the night partying and hanging out. Feel free to invite any friends, even if they do not know others or myself as personally. That being said, do not come if you will not FULLY commit to the bit, I want everyone to be dressing up and acting their parts. If you don't go all out, it takes away all the fun. DON'T BE LAME. Once a date & guest list are somewhat confirmed, I will begin to put together the character lists and will be sending out more formal invitations with more in-depth instructions. I look forward to seeing you all there!
