I’m hosting a 26th Birthday Bonfire celebrating Stonehaven Studios’ upcoming Afrofuturist Art Fairs! Swing by Dockweiler State Beach on Sunday, June 7 for a sunset cookout by the sea. This past year has been deeply challenging for my health, and more than anything, I want to spend quality time with the found family who have shaped my life in Los Angeles. This is a potluck-style, BYOB gathering. Bring snacks, drinks, firewood, blankets, chairs, or anything else that will help us build a warm and welcoming space. If you’re able, donations of any size will help support artist stipends, book donations, catering, and art supplies, our June 14–21 Afrofuturist Art Fairs across LA County.
